I just paired it with my phone, left it in my bedroom, and could still hear it over the sound of washing dishes in the kitchen. It is actually louder than our 30 inch tall Bluetooth speaker. It pairs easily. You can use it for music, or if you want you can use it for phone calls. I really like that aspect of it because when my son is away from home he often calls me while I am busy doing stuff around the house. So it makes it easier for me to do more than one thing at a time.

 This will be my new kitchen speaker. I love to dance while I wash dishes, clean and cook. Usually I pass these off to the kids, but not this time! This one is all mine! With as loud as it is I can even take it outside for pool time so we can have music while playing in the pool. I've tried others while at the pool, but they were never loud enough.
