This Smarson WIFI HD Digital Action Sports Camera  is a great affordable alternative to the GoPro. I am loving figuring it out and thinking of more ways to put it to use. I've still got a bit to learn about different features of this camera, but I have used it and tested it out in our pool. Please excuse the green water in our pool. School has started and we forgot this weeks chlorine application. The pictures are of the Smarson Camera above under are in the water with the toy 12 inches, 18 inches, and 24 inches from the camera. I had not realized there would be a date stamp on them and had not even adjusted the date yet so excuse the date. These were taken this morning when hubby and I went out to the pool to clean it.

Quick and Easy Spicy Tailgating CHA! Sriracha Chili

 

Ingredients for Quick and Spicy Tailgating CHA! Sriracha Chili:

• 1/4 Cup CHA! Sriracha Sauce
• 1 15.5 oz can Kidney beans 
• 1 15.5 oz can Chili beans
• 1 Big 28 oz can of whole or diced tomatoes (2 cans of Rotel can be substituted)
• 1 Large bell pepper any color, but best if your team color happens to be green, yellow, orange, or red!
• 1 Drained can sweet corn (or one cob cut)
• 1 Large onion minced
• 3 Cloves of garlic minced
• 1 Pre mixed packet of chili powder + 1 tsp chili powder1 Pound Ground Beef

 Prep Time:

15 Minutes

Cook Time: 

15-20 Minutes

Serves:

4-6 People

 

Cooking Instructions :

 

• Mince Onion and Garlic

• Dice Bell Pepper making sure you seed the pepper

• Add ground beef to a 5 quart pot and brown for 2 minutes

• Add onion, garlic, and bell pepper

• Finish browning beef with the onion, garlic, and pepper

• Add CHA! Sriracha Sauce

• Add all canned items with juices except the corn. Make sure you drain all juices from the canned corn. 

• Slowly stir in the seasoning packet and chili powder.

• Simmer for 10-15 minutes stirring every couple of minutes.

• Serve with Fritos or Cornbread muffins

Please note this is not a slow simmering, scratch cooking chili (called Chili Con Carne in some places)! No I didn't soak beans for hours. I didn't even use a fresh ear of corn (which would have only added 5 minutes)!

While I love my scratch cooking, football season is hectic! Between school starting, work schedules, getting my son to football practice, and tailgating every weekend our lives are busy! Bento Lunch Box Containers ~ Getting Back to School Ready

Is it that time already? I have been having a hard time this summer. My youngest child is going off to school in less than two weeks. The baby of 3 will move on and leave mommy home to work all day alone. I should be happy right? My day will be easier. Working from home will be easier! School is starting back. Our summer fun comes to an end. The weekends will be our only real family time. These are the signals that Christmas is approaching. Every year I don't know if I should be excited or if I should feel sad. With three children to buy Christmas for I have to get an early start. I usually start in July. You use these little peg boards shaped like animals. You add the beads to the board, cover it in a wax type paper, then you iron it. The heat molds them together so that they stay in whatever shape of the peg board. You create your own little animals.

This is a super great present for any young child. Quality Seat Covers ~ Leader Accessories Universal 11 Piece Seat Covers

Why should I be excited about getting the Leader Accessories Universal seat covers for my van? Well one year ago next month I told my husband we would never buy another vehicle unless we had cash. I was to a point where I could no longer justify spending $400 on a car payment and another $100 on full coverage insurance. It was ridiculous.
